Friendship Corner, affiliated with NAMI Fond du Lac, is a place for peer support and friendship for individuals recovering from mental illness.

The mission of Friendship Corner is to provide a place where adults dealing with mental health issues can be empowered in their recovery through peer support, socialization, education, spiritual and emotion growth opportunities and advocacy.
Education, support and a community of friends who understand can make life satisfying and meaningful again. Mental health consumers living in the community often feel isolated and alone and unsure of the resources available to them. Friendship Corner was developed to meet this need. It operates based on the concept of recovery and consumer empowerment that allows individuals to pursue their recovery and rebuild their life through educational programs and the friendship, support and understanding of peers. It is a non-clinical support services open to any adult consumer of mental health services. There is no cost to join or participate in the drop-in center programs. Activities and events are planned by a consumer and volunteer program committee and are based on the interests of the members.
Membership: Membership is free and open to anyone with a mental illness.
