Tardive Dyskinesia

Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) is an involuntary neurological movement disorder caused by certain medications used to treat mental illness. TD is characterized by uncontrollable, abnormal, and repetitive movements in the face, mouth, and neck. TD can be disruptive to people’s lives and may negatively affect a person’s emotional and social wellbeing.
