Our leadership team is made up of passionate individuals committed to supporting mental health in our community. Together, we bring lived experience, professional expertise, and a shared dedication to helping others.
Our Staff
Sue Mitchell Metz, RN, BSN, MS
Program Coordinator
Sue Mitchell Metz is a dedicated mental health and suicide awareness advocate committed to reducing stigma in the community. She is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and holds master’s degrees in Organizational Leadership and Thanatology.
Sue serves as Program Coordinator for the Care for Caregivers Program at SSM Health, supporting employee psychological safety, and is the Executive Coordinator for NAMI Fond du Lac. She is also an adjunct EMS instructor at Moraine Park Technical College and volunteers with several local organizations, including Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse and the Healthy Fond du Lac County Coalition.
Sue leads and facilitates multiple support groups for individuals and families affected by suicide and loss, and regularly shares her story to raise awareness and promote healing. A survivor of suicide loss herself, she does this work in honor and memory of her son, Ryan.
Kim Miller, MSW, LCSW
Grant and Fundraising Coordinator
Kim Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nine years of experience as a mobile crisis clinician in Wisconsin counties, providing immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing mental health crises. She currently works for the Fond du Lac County Department of Human Services as the Community Response Social Worker (CRSW) embedded within the City of Fond du Lac Police Department. Kim holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work and is passionate about improving access to care and strengthening community-based mental health support.
Kim has been actively involved with NAMI Fond du Lac, first serving on the Board of Directors before transitioning into her current role as Grant and Fundraising Coordinator. In this role, she works to expand resources, build community partnerships, and sustain programs that support individuals and families affected by mental illness.
