Maeghan Thiessen-Greeno – A Commercial Loan Officer with National Exchange Bank & Trust, working in the community to help local businesses grow and build on their success. Maeghan was born and raised in the Fond du Lac community and gives back as a volunteer with multiple organizations, such as Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (Advisory Council Member, YPF Week Chair, Breakfast with Champions Chair, 2020 Young Professional of the Year), Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership (Board Member, Executive Committee Member, Night Market Committee Member), Fondy Festivals Inc. (Board Member, Treasurer), and the NFDL School INCubator Project (Team Mentor).
Maeghan and her family suffered personal tragedy in July of 2020 with the loss of her Dad, Phillip Thiessen, and Maeghan has since made a commitment to honoring her Dad’s motto of “Do the right thing and help people” by improving mental health access and support in the Fond du Lac area. She is currently working with close colleagues and local officials towards a transformation, and hopes to inspire others to get involved by speaking up about her loss and the development she hopes to see in the future.
Alicia Hans MSW, LCSW – A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently works as a Mental Health Clinician with Catalpa Health, a nonprofit pediatric mental health organization committed to improving the lives of children and families in the community.
Alicia is an active member of the Fond du Lac community, and serves as a volunteer in a variety of capacities with several community organizations, such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County (Board Member, Match Growth and Retention Committee Co-Chair, 0.5K Halloweenie Event Chair), Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF Week and Planning and Events committees), CSI Mental Health Access Committee (Chair), United for Diversity (Board Member) and NAMI (volunteer, presenter) and is a former member of the Fond du Lac City Council. Alicia has demonstrated her commitment to breaking the silence and ending stigma related to mental health and substance use issues by sharing her personal journey of recovery.
Cody James – Battled depression, anxiety, and mental illness for close to a decade. His contemplations of suicide and thoughts of self-hatred once ruled his fame of mind.
The pursuit of his dreams, passions, and soul searching have led him all over the globe. After all the chasing of success and failures, Cody never found the peace of mind and contentment he truly desired in his life. Thru his faith, healthy relationships, and habits, he has been able to conquer the demons that once dominated his mind and spirit.
Cody is now happily married to his wife Alivia, and together they have a beautiful child and a successful real estate business. He lives a life to inspire others to overcome their fear, limiting beliefs, and mental illness.
